Into the 21st century (and beyond!)

For the first time this season the Club will be introducing the option to pay over the bar by contactless card payments. I’m guessing it will also be available for subs payments on subs night but don’t expect it can extend to green fees. – So you still need to keep that change jar on the mantlepiece.

2023 AGM Roundup

The Club’s AGM was held on Thursday evening 19th January.

The weather was pretty icy so unfortunately only 23 people turned up but thanks and well done to them.

The following decisions were taken:

  • There was no change to the Club Officers so if my memory serves, that means Ann Mitchell is both President and Secretary, Paul Welburn is Chair and Richard Sheasby Treasurer.
  • Subscriptions for 2023/24 will be £30 for an adult member.
  • Green fees will rise by 30p + whatever may be required by the Leagues.
  • Members must pay their club subscription before playing in a League match.
  • Subs night will be on 31st March where Members can pay by cash or cheque. Alternatively you may pay by BACS transfer. You may have the BACS details already from previous years but I think the details are also on the Club Notice Board.
  • David Fisher has been made a Life Member for services to the Club over many years.

AGM 2023

The 2023 AGM will be held at 7:30pm on Thursday 19th January 2023 at the Clubhouse.
