Well they say the sun shines on the righteous so we must be very righteous. We had an absolutely glorious day again for this years Fun Day and many of our Members and a goodly number of visitors enjoyed a round robin mixed doubles competition followed by semi-finals and a final.
This year’s winners were Dot Charlesworth and Peter Thornhill with Nora Done and David Vaughan as worthy runners-up. Well done to everybody!
Huge thanks also to Ann and John Mitchell for the bulk of the organisation and to everybody who worked behind the bar and in the kitchen on the day and to those who slaved in their own kitchens to provide the splendid food which was available.
