Today was our annual round robin competition known as President’s Day.
The day was “enjoyed” by 34 people who turned up to play, with a few extra spectators. I use the term “enjoyed” loosely as the weather was mostly pretty awful. Still, it was the last Club event of the season and the proceeds will go to charity. This year we are supporting Hope House so most people wouldn’t have missed it.
No photos I’m afraid because it was too wet, but the winners were Jackie Vaughan and Graham Chidlow with Dot Charlesworth and Delia Sheasby runners up by just one point. They all deserve a prize for stamina.
