Crown Green Bowling in Whitchurch, Shropshire
The Greens are now OPEN for practice sessions and we’re counting down to the start of the new season. The first matches of the season take place on Tuesday 3rd April.
Anybody interested in joining the Club is welcome to come and join us for our practice sessions on Monday afternoons (not Easter Monday) from 1pm. If you can’t make Monday afternoons then just give our Secretary Ann a ring on 07429 519869.
Just a reminder that the Club is holding an Open Evening on Thursday 29th March between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. This is a great opportunity for people who are not yet members to come along and meet people and find out about the Club. If you are already a Member and know someone who is interested in bowling please bring them along.
There will also be the opportunity for Members to pay their 2018 subscriptions.
39 bowlers sat down together at the Castle at Bletchley. We had a good meal with lots of laughs and fun. I have some pictures on my ipad and if I can find out how to do it I will put some on.
We are holding a free “COACHING DAY” on Sunday 22nd April 2018, 10.30am till 1pm with light refreshments provided.
Come and learn how to play Crown Green bowls, or brush up on your game.
Shropshire County Coaches will be there to coach and make it fun, with the emphasis on promoting the game and encouraging people to play bowls.
