Whitchurch League Fixtures 2022

Final fixtures are now available. If you have looked at the fixtures prior to today (31.3.22) you should double check them again because there have been some changes. You can see links to all of the Chester Road fixtures directly from our Teams page.

Our C and D teams have swapped designations this season. The team that was previously the D team and captained by Ann is now the C team and still captained by Ann. It is playing in Division 3.

The former C team captained by Simon will be the D team this season and will be captained by Dot. Many thanks to Simon for all his years of dedicated service. The team is playing in Division 4 and will move back to the Big Green. All but 2 of its matches are now on Thursdays.

Open Evening reminder

Just a reminder that Members can come along and pay their subs and have a roll up at our Open Evening on Friday 25th March from 6.30pm. Bring a friend along with you and encourage them to try bowling.

Our Open Evening is open to anyone who is interested in trying bowling, whether you have done it before or not. It’s great for any age group, whether you’re 9 or 90. Kids, come and try it and bring your Mum and Dad. Everyone will be welcomed and you’ll be able to talk to some of our other Members and someone will take you on the green to have a go. Just please bring some flat shoes. Teenagers – you can have a go, we have some Members in your age group too.

Come one come all

The Club is holding an Open evening on Friday 25th March 6:30pm – 9:00pm, when new people are invited to come along, see the club, meet the Members and have a go at bowling. You’ll probably like it more than you ever thought you would!

Present Members are also all welcome to come along and reconnect and may take the opportunity to pay their subs.
