The British Crown Green Bowling Association is inviting all bowlers to complete a survey they have designed to help influence the future direction of the administration of our sport. It is only available until the end of May and may be accessed through the link below. Please note: It may only work if you have a google email account and it may not work on a phone. 
Alternatively you can download it, fill it in, save it as a pdf and then email it to region5@bcgba.org.uk. Yes I KNOW it’s a lot of work, 
but worth it to get your voice heard. This is the first in a series of surveys.
Sunshine Cup 2024
This year’s Sunshine Cup is being held on Sunday 26th May at the Club. So let’s hope for some of that sunshine.
It will be a mixed doubles draw for partners. Registration at 9:45 with the draw soon after, hoping for a 10:15am start. The cost is £10 per person to include lunch and tea or coffee. Non-bowlers can have lunch and refreshments for £5.
There is a sign-up sheet on the club notice board. Please add your name as soon as possible so that we can plan the catering (and the bowling). We would appreciate donations of food too. (There may even be a sign-up sheet for that too). If you need any more information please contact Bob Charlesworth.
Subs night and Open Evening
Just a reminder that there is a subs night and an open evening at the Club from 6:30pm on Thursday 28th March.
The Greens are OPEN
Our greens are now open and available for Club Members to practice. Only 2 weeks to the start of the season!
All Fixtures are now available
Both the Whitchurch League and Market Drayton League Fixtures are now available. So that’s a full house for all the leagues we play in.
It’s just over 2 weeks now to the start of the season. With Barlows and Whitchurch Leagues both starting on2nd April. Time to dust off your bowls and start practicing.
Malpas Seniors fixtures are now live.
Malpas seniors fixtures are now live on the bowls results website. This year the Seniors are leading the way in trialling a new format involving both singles and doubles league matches allowing them to have 3 divisions and even out skills sets between the top and bottom of each division. Chester Road Open Evening
There will be an Open Evening at the Club on 28th March at 6:30pm. All existing Members welcome and anyone interested in taking up the sport will be able to come along, have a go and meet existing members. You’ll wonder why you’ve never done it before! Everyone welcome.
